Thomas Snyder earned two All-American awards at heavyweight for the wrestling team, capping off a Hall of Fame resume. Snyder’s athleticism at heavyweight helped him bust into the Warriors’ lineup early in his career and after he posted a 24-2 mark with 11 pins in 2003-04, he became a fixture. As the last bout in a dual meet, it was the heavyweight Snyder who anchored a team that posted a 71-23-1 (.753) record during his time at the College. Meanwhile, he compiled an 84-13 record with 27 falls and he recorded three 20-win seasons. He placed at the MAC Championships in each of his four years, winning titles in 2004, 2005 and 2006. He earned his first All-American honors in 2005, taking seventh at the championships, before claiming another All-American honor in 2006, placing fifth. After Lycoming, Snyder served as an assistant coach for the team for a season and he currently works as a Pennsylvania state trooper.
