A star athlete, Wydra-Curry ran at the MAC Championships twice, coming home with gold in the 400-meter hurdles both times, posting a time of 1:04.98 to win the event in 1999 and following that with an NCAA-provisional cut time of 1:04.46 as a junior, winning the race by nearly 2.5 seconds and breaking the conference record in the event. The Ashland, Pa., native also placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles both seasons. After transferring from Susquehanna after her freshman year, Wydra also starred on both the women's basketball and softball teams. In basketball, she served as the team's starting point guard for three seasons, leading the team to a 40-33 (.548) during her career, which also included an appearance in the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs. She is still fifth in school history in both career assists (293) and steals (184) and she was named the College's Female Athlete of the Year in 2001. Wydra also spent three seasons as an outfielder on the softball team, finishing her career with a .275 batting average, a homer and 10 RBI. She joined the team in 2000, while still competing in track and field, and by 2002, while she finished her elementary education certification, Wydra had transformed into a first-team all-conference outfielder, hitting .304 with 10 stolen bases while leading the Warriors to the first of five straight appearances in the Freedom Conference Championship. After graduating, Wydra became an integral part of the athletic department, serving as the head cross country coach for seven seasons and as an assistant women's basketball coach for five. She left the Williamsport area in 2008, assisting women's basketball at Cabrini College for one season in 2009-10. In 2013, she was the only Lycoming athlete honored on the MAC Century Track & Field Team.
