The gunslinger on one of the best football team's in program history, Phil Mann spent parts of three seasons as the team's quarterback, earning two of the college's most prestigious awards, the 2005 Most Outstanding Athlete award and the 2004 Sol "Woody" Wolf Award for the college's most improved junior athlete. A two-time Second Team All-MAC quarterback, Mann is fifth in program history in career completions (376), total offense (5,323) and passing yards per game (155.1), sixth in passing yards (4,808), TDs responsible for (48) and pass attempts (696), eighth in touchdowns (33) and completion percentage (54.0) and 10th in passing efficiency (119.9). During his junior season in 2003, the Mill Hall, Pa., product led the Warriors to a 9-2 record, a MAC title and a spot in the NCAA quarterfinals. His 186 completions were fourth in program history and his 2,473 yards passing were fifth. A two-time captain, Mann notched a 17-8 career record in three years as a starter, tied for seventh-most in program history and led the MAC in pass efficiency (143.4) as a sophomore. He was also a three-time member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll as a math major and was named the team's MVP as both a junior and senior.
