Lycoming College

James Tkach was a four-year starter on the football team, earning All-MAC honorable mention. As a senior, he was a second-team East Coast Athletic Conference selection as a linebacker. He anchored a Lycoming defense that was ranked first in the nation. He was the head coach at Northern Lehigh High School from 1992-05, where he coached 19 All-State players, a Lehigh Valley Scholar-Athlete and a U.S. Navy/ESPN First-Team Academic All-American player, and numerous league and district championship teams.
