Hall of Fame
Coming to Lycoming College at the same time as Hall of Famer Megan Wallenhorst ‘08, Heather Suit paired with Wallenhorst to form one of the best attack units in the region during one of the most prosperous periods in program history. Suit is the sixth Warrior associated with the women’s lacrosse program to earn induction to the Athletics Hall of Fame.
Suit started all four seasons, becoming just the fourth player in school history to finish with 200 career points.Â
After posting 24 goals and eight assists as a freshman, Suit helped turn the program around as a sophomore, leading the team to the first of two straight 14-4 seasons, finishing with 31 goals, 39 assists and 15 caused turnovers.Â
As a junior, the Annapolis, Maryland native set a school-record with 40 assists and helped to a national ranking of as high as 16th.
As a senior, Heather added 31 more assists and 54 points, earning second-team all-region honors, a fair recognition for a career in which she served the Warrior offense 115 helpers, a mark that hasn’t been challenged in the past 13 seasons.
Suit, who was a second-team all-region selection as a senior, had four of the top five single-game assist totals in school history and her 10-assist game against Gwynedd-Mercy on March 18, 2006 is still tied for the 22nd-most in Division III history.Â
In all, the Warriors went 42-24 in her career, made one appearance in the conference championship game and took three trips to the conference tournament.

After graduating, she moved back to the Annapolis area and married husband, Danny. The couple have two children, Isabel and Theodore, and Heather is looking forward to introducing them to the sport of lacrosse.
