Hunsicker became the first Lycoming swimmer to earn the MAC's David B. Eavenson Swimmer of the Year award during her freshman year, starting one of the finest careers in the program's history. During the MAC Championships in 2010, Hunsicker was the driving force that led the Warriors to their first MAC Championship in 13 years, winning individual championships in the 500-yard freestyle (5:18.44), 100-yard butterfly (1:00.15) and 200-yard butterfly (2:14.76). She also helped the 200-yard medley relay (1:51.21) to the conference title. During the meet, she helped set five school records that still stand, breaking marks in the 500-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly and serving as a member of three record-setting relay teams (200-yard medley; 400-yard medley, 4:05.50; 400-yard freestyle, 3:40.81). One of just three swimmers in the women's program's history to win four MAC titles in a career and the only one to win four titles in one year, the Bethlehem, Pa., native was a five-time First Team All-MAC pick in individual events, also earning the honor in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly in 2011 and a two-time Second Team All-MAC pick, earning a top-six finish in the 2011 500-yard freestyle and 2012 100-yard butterfly. Hunsicker helped the Warriors to a 26-13-1 dual-meet record during her career and besides the four First Team All-MAC relays she served on during 2010, she also served on four Second Team All-MAC relays (2011 200-yard medley, 400-yard medley; 2012 200-yard medley, 400-yard freestyle). In 2012, she was also one of three Warriors voted onto the MAC Century Team.
