A freshman on Lycoming's first NCAA men's basketball team in 1985, Arrigale has gone on to become one of the finest high school coaches in Pennsylvania history. While at Lycoming, the 6-1 guard from Philadelphia, Pa., was a reliable performer off the bench, appearing in 60 games in his career and scoring 167 points. Besides the team's 19-7 season in 1984-85, which set a school-record for wins that stood for 11 years, Arrigale helped the team post a 52-43 record in his career. After graduating, Arrigale moved back to Philadelphia, where he became an assistant coach at Neumann Goretti in 1992. Elevated to head coach in 1999, Arrigale has helped the Saints post a 500-117 record since. He has coached the squad to 10 Philadelphia Catholic League titles and led the Saints to eight PIAA Class AAA state titles. In 2018, the team won its fifth straight state title. At Neumann Goretti, Arrigale has mentored several high-level college basketball stars, including Rick Jackson, Scoop Jardine (Syracuse), Daniel Stewart (Rider), Troy Harper (Drexel),  Quade Green (Washington), Tony Chennault, Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree (Villanova), D.J. Rivera, Lamarr Kimble (St. Joseph's), Ja'Quan Newton (Miami), Cantrell Fletcher, John Davis, Zane Martin (Towson), Marcus Littles (George Washington), Earl Pettis (LaSalle) and Lamin Fulton (Wis.-Green Bay).
