Grace Gargiulo, who earned All-MAC Honorable Mention honors in 2010, was the 13th player in school history to earn first-team all-conference honors as she enjoyed a record-breaking year for the Warriors in 2011, notching a school-record 80 goals in 16 games, helping her earn USA College Lacrosse.com All-American honors. Her 5.0 goals per game not only led the league, but also put her second in the NCAA Division III in the category through games of May 15. Gargiulo also sits 24th in the nation in points per game at 5.25, 29th in groundballs per game at 4.0 and 95th in draw controls per game at 3.13. She also forced 1.19 turnovers per game.
During the season, Gargiulo won three MAC Offensive Player of the Week awards, as she posted five or more goals in seven games and notched hat tricks in 13 straight games. She posted a school-record 11 goals and a record-tying 12 points in the Warriors’ 19-10 win over Misericordia on April 13.
