One of the first stars in Budd Whitehill’s wrestling team, Harry Romig broke onto the national scene in 1960 when he won the first national title in school history, taking the 137-pound title at the NAIA Championships in Lock Haven, Pa. A part of the first full recruiting class under Whitehill, Romig won two Middle Atlantic Conference titles and two Most Outstanding Wrestler awards at the MACs in his three-year career.
