Junior Seth Lansberry capped a phenomenal junior season by finishing fourth in the country at 149 pounds to earn his All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Lansberry capped his season with a 38-5 record, tied for the second-most wins in a season in program history while helping Lycoming to a 13th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
He opened his NCAA Championships run with a 3-2 win over Daniel Del Gallo of Southern Maine. The fifth-seeded Lansberry dominated Elmhurst's fourth-seeded Blake Santi en route to a 7-3 win in the quarterfinals.Â
In the semifinal, he wrestled well, but fell to Cornell's Trevor Engle, 5-3. He rebounded by rolling past Luther's seventh-seeded Dakota Gray in the consolation semifinals in a 13-3 major decision. Against the No. 2 seed Dan Mirman of John Carroll in the third-place match, he lost a tight, 4-3 decision.
Lansberry is the school's 62nd wrestling All-American.

Advancing to the NCAA Championship semifinals for the second straight year, Seth Lansberry ensured his second All-American honors for the Lycoming College wrestling team.
In his semifinal match, Lansberry was pinned by Aaron Engle of Cornell in sudden victory. Engle used a headlock in the first period to get a takedown before Lansberry escaped an countered with his own takedown off a single-leg shot. Engle escaped to tie the match and in the final two periods of regulation, both grapplers managed escapes to tie it at four heading into overtime. In the overtime period, Engle got in deep on a single and as Lansberry scrambled to prevent the takedown, Engle was able to score the pin.

He rebounded with a 4-1 win over Coe's Cole Erickson in the consolation semifinals, as he used a third-period takedown with 30 seconds left to seal the win before tacking on a riding time point. In the third-place match, he faced Wartburg's two-time national champion Kenny Martin. Lansberry scored first with a first-period escape, but Martin used a takedown and nearfall to score a 6-2 win.

On Friday, Lansberry opened his run in the 149-pound bracket with a convincing 8-0 major decision win over Centenary's Christopher Muce. He broke the school record for major decisions in a career with the win, moving past Andy Lausier's record-setting mark of 26 set from 1996-01. In his quarterfinal match, he was able to control pace against the Ferrum's seventh-seeded Collin Saunders, posting a 700 win.

Lansberry finished the season 41-2 with a school-record 13 technical falls. His career record of 145-23 is also a school-best, while his 25 technical falls and 27 major decisions are also records.
