DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Senior
Rachel Fritz (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) ran a 25:03.5, the fourth fastest time in program history, to lead the Lycoming College women's cross country team to a 12
th-place finish out of 16 teams on the 6k course and the men finished 16
th on the 8k course at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 28, at Delaware Valley.

Fritz's career-best run of 25:03.5 was also the 15
th-best at the MACs in program history. Her previous best was set at the Gettysburg Invite on Oct. 14 as she bested that by 15 seconds.

Messiah took first on the men's side while Misericordia was first on the women's.

Fritz led the Warrior women with a 34
th-place finish out of 145 runners while sophomore
Kaylee Long (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) finished 60
th with her run of 26:16. Sophomores
Amanda Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) and
Angelina Fernandez (Bartonsville, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) finished 106
th and 109
th, respectively as Goulden ran a 29:26.3 and Fernandez finished in 29:55.9. Senior
Rachel Ham (San Antonio, Texas/Home-schooled) took 125
th with her 31:45.4, rounding out the top-five Warrior runners.

Also factoring into the scoring for the Warriors was senior
Kaitlin Fair (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central), who ran a 31:55.8, and junior
Kaitlyn Barmore (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury), who finished 135
th with her run.

Meanwhile, on the men's side, freshman
Daniel Moses (Cape May, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) finished 101
st with his run of 31:27.8. Finishing second for Lycoming was freshman
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area), who placed 116
th with his 32:39.1 run and senior
Joseph Ingrum (Lodi, Calif./Lodi) finished right behind him at 117
th with his run of 32:40.4. Junior
Andrew Dion (Tiverton, R.I./Tiverton) took 127
th with his 33:18.2 run and sophomore
Gustavo Vergara (Santa Ana, Calif./Valley) finished out the top-five Warrior runners with his 34:14 run, good for 136
th.

Seniors
Sean Hastings (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) and
Trenton Jones (Houston, Texas/KIPP Sunnyside) rounded out the scoring for Lycoming as Hastings took 146
th with his 36:15.6 run.

The Warriors wrap up their season on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the NCAA Mideast Regional at Newville, Pa. The women's race starts at 11 a.m. while the men start at 12 p.m.
