2026 Lycoming College Cross Country Season Preview

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With a large smattering of seniors on both the Lycoming College men's and women's cross country teams, the teams will kick off the 2026 season on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Misericordia's Cougar Classic, looking to use that veteran leadership en route to a multitude of career bests as the season gets underway.

With three meets, including both the Landmark Conference Championship and the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, at nearby Lock Haven University's course, the Warriors have several chances to reach those goals this year under the guidance of second-year head coach Dylan Geraty.

Although the Warriors will have to replace Kenny Draper, the team's top runner the last four years, a group of six seniors will ensure that the team is one of the most experienced in years.

Avery Rosan (29:40.4), Connor Cornelius (31:27.33), Thomas Andersen (42:18.59), Depesh Rai (42:38.00) and Jayden Drummond (42:40.1) return to the team, while Devon Green joins the team before getting set for his senior season of wrestling. Junior Aidan Rozetar (40:01.9) and sophomore Jacob Carr (30:39.81) also return to the team.

Like the men's team, a group of six seniors will provide leadership and depth for the Lycoming women's cross country team. Senior Sydney Taylor (27:47.75) led the team at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals in 2025, with seniors Ella Scott (28:30.80), Miya Knippenberg (30:15.67) and Anna Kauffman (30:21.83) all placing in the top five at the regional as well. Meghan Farr (34:55.47) and newcomer Lily Zukosky round out the team's senior leadership.

Juniors Emma Ashfield (30:12.21) and Sydney Cox (29:11) each ran career-bests during their sophomore campaigns and sophomore Caitlyn Albertson did as well, posting a 34:46.98 at the Landmark Championship.

First-years Talya Bardole, Ava Gomez and Natalia Gonzalez will also factor into the lineup this year.
