LEBANON, Pa. – Five Lycoming College cross country runners posted career-best times in the cold rain and wind at the Lebanon Valley College Last Chance Run Fast and freshmen
Quincy Amabile (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) and
Kaylee Long (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) finished in career-best positions of second and fifth, respectively, at the race on Friday night, Oct. 21.

Amabile led the men's team, which finished in sixth out of seven teams, with a time of 27:43.6 to take second in a field of 69 runners on an 8K course. Long led the women, which took fourth out of seven teams, as she posted a time of 24:40.8 to take fifth in a field of 72 runners on the 6K course.

The women's team was paced by several solid performances, with all of the top five runners finishing in the top half of the field. Senior
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen) had a season-best performance of 25:46.8 to take 17
th and senior
Victoria Wilson (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland) finished with a career-best time for the third straight race, finishing in 25:58.6 to take 20th. Junior
Lindsay Smith (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) took 34
th in a career-best 27:24.9 and freshman
Amanda Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) took 35
th in a career-best 27:33.3.

Jordyn Reilly (Cressona, Pa./Blue Mountain) added a time of 29:48.0, crossing under 30 minutes for the second straight time and junior
Kaitlin Fair (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) also factored into the scoring with her time of 30:15.2.

On the men's side, senior
Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) took 31
st in 30:12.4, freshman
Gustavo Vergara (Santa Ana, Calif./Valley) finished 38
th in a career-best 31:01.6 and freshman
James Wait (Cherry Valley, N.Y./Cherry Valley) added a career-best 31:20.4 to take 43
rd. Junior
Joseph Ingrum (Lodi, Calif./Lodi) rounded out the top five in 31:23.1.

Andrew Dion (Tiverton, R.I./Tiverton) (32:46.1) and senior
John Woodburn (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) (33:51.1) also factored into the scoring.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Oct. 29, when they head to the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at Messiah College, with the men starting at 11 a.m. and the women starting at 12 p.m.
