Sydney Taylor (Troy, Pa./Troy) paced the Lycoming College cross country teams in the season-opening Misericordia Invitational on Friday evening, Aug. 29, finishing 46
th to help the women's team to an eighth-place finish in a 10-team field.

Taylor posted a 18:17.70 time to lead the Warriors to the finish line, while junior
Ella Scott (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) was close behind in 49
th-place in the 82-runner field, finishing in 18:25.90. Junior
Gwyn Fox (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) finished 66
th in 20:33.60 and junior
Ann-Marie McMurtie (Centre Hall, Pa./Penns Valley) posted a 21:04.20 in her first race. Junior
Miya Knippenberg (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) rounded out the team's top five in 21:55.30.

Kenneth Draper (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville Area) paced the men's team with a 52
nd-place finish in the 108-runner field, posting a 14:11.0 on the 4K course, helping the men to a seventh-place finish in an 11-team field. First-year
Jacob Carr (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) posted a time of 15:04.6 and junior
Avery Rosan (Frederica, Del./Polytech) added a 15:07.70. Junior
Depesh Rai (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) (21:23.2) and sophomore
Aidan Rozetar (Shoemakersville, Pa./Hamburg Area) (21:34.2) rounded out the scoring five.
