On a weekend where the Lycoming softball team scored 35 runs in a four-game sweep of Delaware Valley, it was sophomore Payton Whary that stood out thanks to the fifth perfect game in Lycoming softball history. Whary tossed the five-inning gem in a 10-0 win over Delaware Valley to cap the four-game sweep, as she struck out five, got eight ground balls and three pop outs to improve to 2-0 this season. Whary also tossed six shutout innings in a 6-0 win over Delaware Valley on Saturday, allowing four hits and striking out four more. For the week, the 5-3 hurler went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 11 innings.
