After helping Lycoming overcome a 12-point deficit with 4:09 left in regulation to post a 106-100 overtime victory against Hood, senior Alex Newbold has earned his fourth career Warrior of the Week award. The 5-10 guard became the 32nd player in program history to score 1,000 career points when he hit a floating layup with 1:51 remaining in overtime to give Lycoming a five-point lead, as he posted 17 of his career-high 27 points in the second half and overtime. Newbold scored nine of the team's 13 overtime points, added 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals while hitting 10-of-15 shots in his fourth career double-double. The 10th-ranked Warriors are 17-1 overall and 8-1 in the MAC Commonwealth and Newbold is second on the squad in scoring (12.2), rebounding (5.0) and steals (26).
