After averaging 11.5 points per game off the bench during the women's basketball team's trip to Florida, sophomore Morgan Mader has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. Mader started the week with eight points, two rebounds and an assist in the team's 70-63 loss to Randolph-Macon. She followed that with 15 points, hitting four 3-pointers, to go with six rebounds and four assists in a 63-56 win over Mary Washington, helping the Warriors knock off the Eagles, who qualified for the NCAA Tournament each of the last two years.
