After averaging 17.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in a pair of dramatic MAC Commonwealth wins for the women's basketball team, senior Shelby Mueller has earned her seventh career Warrior of the Week award and first of the season. Mueller, who is second in the MAC Commonwealth in scoring (15.0 points per game) and fourth in rebounding (9.5), posted 24 points, six rebounds and a steal, hitting 10-of-18 from the field, in a 57-56 win over Lebanon Valley. She swished through two game-winning free throws with 27.6 seconds left . The forward followed that with 10 points, 12 rebounds, four steals and a block in 60-57 win over Stevenson. She hit a layup with 38 seconds left in regulation to get Warriors within a point as Lycoming went on to force overtime and added a steal in the paint with 28 seconds in the extra period to help ensure the win, forcing the Mustangs to foul in the Warriors' final possessions.Â
