After averaging a team-best 16.0 points per game in MAC Commonwealth wins over Alvernia and Arcadia, sophomore Akilah McFadden has earned her fourth career Warrior of the Week award and first of the season. McFadden shot 48 percent (10-of-21) from the field, 50 percent from 3-point range (3-of-6), and 90 percent at the free throw line (9-of-10) while also adding 5.0 assists and 5.0 steals per game. She posted 13 points, five assists, five steals and four rebounds in a 67-49 win over Alvernia before posting a season-high 19 points, five assists and five assists in a 66-49 win against Arcadia. McFadden is seventh in the MAC Commonwealth in assists (3.7), second in assist/turnover ratio (1.6) and ninth in steals (1.9).
