2026 Lycoming College Men's Lacrosse Season Preview

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With a roster made up of one senior, three juniors and 17 underclassmen, the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team will lean into its youth movement in 2026 under third-year head coach Tony Mackin.

The Warriors return a 25-goal scorer in junior Brogan Wooley and three-year starting senior defender Cole Slezak, as the pair will provide the veteran leadership for the youthful team.

We're ready to get going. This group has continued to embrace the process and we, collectively, understand that our goal is to be a better team during our last game than we were doing our first. This is a group that can grow together for the next couple years and I am excited to start that process.

After a breakthrough season in his first year as a starter on attack, junior Brogan Wooley heads the returning cast on attack. He scored 25 goals and added 11 assists, also picking up 21 groundballs during in 2025.

Sophomore Jake Lanning also returns after he saw time in three contests during his rookie year.

First-years Ryan MacElhinney, Samuel Barry, Samuel Hall and Garis Tocco will all also see time in the offensive zone this year.

After the graduation of six midfielders in 2025, it's no surprise that the midfield will experience the brunt of the team's youthful revolution this year.

Sophomores Cesar Carmona-Felipe and James Hall-Melnychuck each had plenty of spurts of playing time in 2025. Carmona-Felipe started seven games, posted seven goals and six assists and also picked up eight groundballs. Hall-Melnychuck appeared in 12 games, causing two turnovers and picking up a groundball, developing into one of the team's top defensive midfielders.

Sophomores Dillan Mesidor and Nasir Vilus also return after seeing some action during their rookie years.

First-years Connor Thompson, Gavin Bicher, Hunter Skornick and Kyle Kunes will all also be available to see time immediately and MacElhinney, Barry, Hall and Tocco could also drop into midfield play upon request.

Senior Cole Slezak and junior Luis Servin return after both started every game with the longstick in 2025.

Slezak, a three-year starter, posted a goal, 22 groundballs and caused 16 turnovers, all career-bests, during his junior season. Servin, who started his collegiate career as a goalkeeper at Keystone College, posted 32 groundballs and caused 11 turnovers.

Sophomore Braden Hill also returns, as the longstick midfielder appeared in 13 games, posting four groundballs and causing two turnovers in 2025.

First-years Jack Mulholland and Alex Jones will also look to work into the defensive rotation immediately.

With the graduation of three-time all-conference goalkeeper Ben Franco, the Warriors will turn to a trio of newcomers this season to see time between the pipes.
Junior Evan Donnelly and first-year Logan Hummer have competed throughout the preseason and could all see time throughout the season.
