Warriors picked eighth in Landmark Preseason Poll

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Lycoming College men's lacrosse team was picked eighth in the Landmark Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league office announced on Friday, Feb. 6.

The Warriors are seeking to continue building in head coach Tony Mackin's third season, after Lycoming improved their winning percentage for a second year in a row in 2025. The Warriors finished last season 6-9 overall and 2-7 in the Landmark.

The Warriors will welcome back junior attacker Brogan Wooley (Hampton, N.J. / Morris Catholic), who tallied 25 goals and 11 assists a year ago, finishing second on the squad in goals and third in points. Three other starters will be returning this season as well, including sophomore Cesar Carmona-Felipe (Oakland, Calif. / Oakland Tech), who tallied seven goals and six assists.

Defending champion Scranton was picked first with 81 points and nine first-place votes. Elizabethtown was selected second at 72 points and the remaining first-place pick. Catholic (64 points) was third, with Susquehanna (51 points) edging out Drew (50 points) for fourth. The poll was rounded out with Moravian (45 points), Goucher (36 points), Lycoming (21 points), Wilkes (18 points) and Juniata (12 points).

The Warriors will begin the 2026 season on Wednesday, Feb. 18 with a non-conference matchup against King's College (Pa.) at 4 p.m., at UPMC Field.
