LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Two Lycoming College women's cross country team members finished in the top-35 in a field of 168 to lead the way, as 15 of the men's and women's team's 17 runners ran season-bests at the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday morning, Sept. 23.
 
Running in the women's white 6K, the Warriors finished 10^th in the field of 17 teams.
 
Junior Katryn Yocum (Carlisle, Pa./Big Spring) notched a time of 24:35.4 to lead the Warriors, as she finished 26^th and senior Ali Clemens (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area) notched a career-best 24:54.8 to take 33^rd, becoming the sixth runner in program history to cross the 25-minute threshold. Senior Claire Shaffer (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) added a career-best 26:13.2 to take 87^th, first-year Ella Scott (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) notched a time of 26:35.4 to take 109^th and junior Madeline O'Connor (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) took 141^st in a career-best 28:44.2. Junior Isabella Fave (Middleburg, Pa./Midd-West) added a career-best time of 28:46.7 and first-year Sydney Taylor (Troy, Pa./Troy) finished in 29:01.7 to round out the scoring seven.
 
The Warrior men finished 20^th in the field of 21 teams in the White 8K race.
 
Sophomore Kenneth Draper (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) took 65^th in the field of 212 runners, posting a time of 27:50.8, first-year Cael Owen (Gillett, Pa./Horseheads (N.Y.)) finished in 141^st in 29:57.6, first-year Avery Rosan (Frederica, Del./Polytech) took 158^th in 30:43.1, junior Sean McKenna (Campbell, N.Y./Campbell-Savona) took 176^th in 32:22.6 and first-year Joshua Sellers (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) took 205^th in 39:42.0 to round out the scoring five.
 
The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 7, when they head to the Bloomsburg Invitational.
