GETTYSBURG, Pa. – First-year
Katryn Yocum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) turned in another brilliant effort, finishing 21
st in a field of 139 runners to lead the Lycoming College cross country teams at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on the campus of Gettysburg College on Saturday, Oct. 16.

Fighting through rain, the Warriors competed well, but were limited to one career-best time, which was turned in by sophomore
Madisyn Neal (Roaring Branch, Pa./Canton), who posted a 32:28.8 to take 124
th.

Yocum finished in 24:48.4, just a few seconds off her pace of 24:41 from DeSales last week. She finished third among Middle Atlantic Conference runners and 13
th amongst Division III competitors. Sophomore
Ali Clemens (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area) also turned in a solid time of 27:00.7, just 13 seconds off her career-best. Rounding out the women's entries, junior
Mariah Rovenolt (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) posted a season-best 39:32.5.

Eliott Bello (Trumbell, Conn./Trumbell) and senior
Max Hanson (Fort Walton Beach, Fla./Bishop Machebeuf (Colo.)) paced the men's team once again, as the Warriors finished 13
th in the field of 18 teams.

Bello posted a 30:11.7 to take 82
nd in the field of 168 and Hanson was close behing in 88
th in 30:23.1. Senior
Diego Pallares (Chicago, Ill./Bulls College Prep) (35:09.9, 154
th), junior
Logan Franquet (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) (36:00.7, 156
th) and senior
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) (37:46.1, 161
st) rounded out the team's scoring five.

The Warriors will now have a weekend off before they get set for the MAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 30, at DeSales University. The men's 8K race will start at 11 a.m. before the women's 6K race begins at 12 p.m.
