STEVENSON, Md. - Sophomore
Daniel Moses (Cape May, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) and junior
Kaylee Long (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) led the Lycoming College cross country teams to 10th and ninth-place finishes, respectively, in the Shannon Henretty Invitational, on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Stevenson University. The race serves a preview of the MAC Championships, which will be contested at Stevenson on Oct. 27.

Moses led the men's team, finishing 63
rd in a field of 122 by running a 30:46.39 in the 8k run. Sophomore
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) finished second on the team and 96
th in the field by running a 34:02.94. Freshmen
Brandon Gates (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) ran a 35:05.34, and senior
Andrew Dion (Tiverton, R.I./Tiverton) posted a 35:18.41. Finishing out the top five was freshman
Diego Pallares (Cicero III./Bulls College Prep), running a 35:20.96.

Long finished 43
rd out of a field of 117 running on the women's side with a 26:58.72 to help her team place ninth in the 6k run. Freshman
Robyn Hoch (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown Area) took second on the team and 91
st overall, running a 30:12.54. Junior
Amanda Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) added a 31:01.56, senior
Kaitlyn Barmore (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury) finished in 33:28.81, and junior
Kayla Nowak (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) ran a 35:34.27 to round out the team's top five.

The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 23, when they head to Newville, Pa. to compete at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational. The women's race will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the men will begin at 11:15 a.m.
