NEWVILLE, Pa. – Junior
Kaylee Long (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) led the Lycoming College cross country teams by finishing 37th in the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational 4,000-meter race on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 22.

Both squads ran the 4K race with the women finishing ninth out of 14 schools while the men took ninth in an 11 team field.

Long ran a 16:39.04 to pace the women's squad in the field of 119 runners. Freshman
Robyn Hoch (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown Area) took 82
nd with a time of 18:58.09. Junior
Amanda Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) ran a time of 19:51.82, finishing 89
th, and junior
Kayla Nowak (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) rounded out the team's runners with a time of 21:48.713, finishing 104
th.

On the men's side,
Daniel Moses (Cape May, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) earned the team's best time with a 14:12.30, good for a 48
th-place finish in the 95-runner field. Freshman
Diego Pallares (Cicero, Ill./Bulls College Prep) followed him with a time of 15:58.95, earning 68
th. Sophomore
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) ran a 16:05.92, finishing 71
st and senior
John Peters (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) ran a 16:17.06, finishing 73
rd. Freshman
Logan Franquet (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) finished seconds behind him in 16:20.45, earning 74
th, to round out the team's top five finishers.

The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 29, when they head to Geneseo, N.Y., to compete at the Mike Woods XC Invitational. The women's race will begin at 11 a.m. and the men will begin at 12 p.m.
