Lycoming Lands Seven on NFF Hampshire Society List

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Seven members of the Lycoming College football team: seniors Coltin Hans (Montgomery, Pa. / Montgomery Area), Braedon Hart (Philadelphia, Pa. / Father Judge), Karson Kline (Clearfield, Pa. / Clearfield Area), Braden Kotter (Southampton, Pa. / Council Rock South), Mario Samony (Old Forge, Pa. / Old Forge), Michael Sipps (Lawrenceville, Pa. / Cowanesque Valley), and Michael Van Horn (Philadelphia, Pa. / Father Judge) were honored by the National Football Foundation (NFF) by being named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society.

Created in 2007, the NFF Hampshire Honor Society is one of the most comprehensive scholar-athlete initiatives in college athletics, recognizing football players from all divisions who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher throughout their college careers. This is the fourth consecutive season that Lycoming has had at least six players honored.

Hans appeared in six games on special teams during the 2025 season. Hans was named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll each of the last two seasons.

Hart, a three-year starter on the offensive line, earned First Team All-Landmark Conference honors last fall after being named second-team all-conference in 2024 and honorable mention all-conference in 2023. He is also a four-year Academic Honor Roll selection and was a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District pick in 2023.

Kline started at wide receiver for two years at Lycoming, totaling 902 yards and seven touchdowns. He tallied 602 yards and four touchdowns on 43 catches in 2025, finishing top three in the conference in both yards and receptions and earning Second Team All-Landmark Conference accolades. Kline also earned conference academic honor roll and CSC Academic All-District honors in both of his seasons with the Warriors.

Kotter appeared in six games during the 2025 season and saw action in 16 games on special teams over his career. He is a two-time Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll selection.

Samony started at defensive back, tallying 21 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a pair of interceptions this past season. He was named to the Landmark Conference All-Sportsmanship Team for the 2025 campaign and is a three-time conference academic honor roll selection.

Sipps, a three-year starter on the defensive line and two-year starter at punter, finished his career with 35 games played, racking up 51 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, and a pair of sacks this past season. He earned Second Team All-Landmark Conference honors at defensive line in 2025. Sipps is a four-time academic honor roll selection and was a CSC Academic All-District Team selection in 2023.

VanHorn appeared in ten games for the Warriors last fall, running for 74 yards and four touchdowns as a short-yardage back and adding 67 yards and a touchdown receiving. He earned Second Team All-Landmark Conference honors in 2025 and has been named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll each of the last two seasons.

The Warriors finished the 2025 season 5-6, finishing second in the Landmark Conference and competing in the Cape Charles Bowl for the second time in three seasons.
