WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After posting D3football.com All-Region honors as a sophomore, junior Daniel Atsou (Capitol Heights, Md./Suitland) became the Lycoming College football team's D3football.com Preseason All-American since 2014, earning a slot on the third team as a linebacker, the website announced on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
 
Atsou, a First Team All-Landmark Conference selection in 2025, emerged as a disruptive force for the Warrior defense, tallying 84 tackles and 14.0 tackles for loss, as well as one sack, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked kick. He ranked fifth in the Landmark in tackles, tied for second in tackles for loss, and was one of just two players in the league with multiple forced and recovered fumbles. He also earned defensive athlete of the week recognition from the conference on Oct. 27.
 
He is Lycoming's fifth D3football.com Preseason All-American and the first since Tanner Troutman was a back-to-back first-team pick as a safety in 2013-14.

The Warriors finished the 2025 season 5-6 overall and in second place in the Landmark Conference with a 5-1 mark under 18^th-year head coach Mike Clark. The team participated in the Cape Charles Bowl for the second time in three years as part of the Chesapeake Bowl Series.


Lycoming opens the 2026 season on Saturday, Sept. 5, when they head to TCNJ for a 1 p.m., start.
