REEDSVILLE, Pa. – Senior
Kenneth Draper (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) posted a 5K time of 17:27.7 to win the men's race and lead the Lycoming College cross country teams at the Juniata College-hosted Eagle Invite at Indiana Valley Elementary Center on Friday evening, Sept. 12.

Draper is the first Warrior man to win a cross country event since Scott Condello won the Baptist Bible Invitational on Sept. 16, 2000, as he led a pack of 15 runners.

The Warrior women had five runners finish in the top 10 in the 23-runner field, as they took second in a three-team event on a 5K course. Junior
Ella Scott (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) paced the Warriors, finishing fourth on the 5K course in 23:27.1 and junior
Sydney Taylor (Troy, Pa./Troy) posted a time of 24:10.7 to take sixth. Junior
Gwyneth Fox (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) was eighth in 25:10.0, junior
Anna Kauffman (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) ninth at 25:57.7 and junior
Ann-Marie McMurtrie (Centre Hall, Pa./Penns Valley) rounded out the scoring five in 10
th at 26:11.9.

Three Warriors finished in the top 10 on the men's side, paced by medalist Draper along with junior
Avery Rosan (Frederica, Del./Polytech), who took seventh in 18:50.2 and first-year
Jacob Carr (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area), who took ninth in 18:56.3. Junior
Jayden Drummond (Georgetown, Del./Sussex Central) took 12
th in 25:54.8 and junior
Depesh Rai (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) rounded out the top five in 26:04.5.

The Warriors are back in action at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pa., on Saturday, Sept. 27, with racing set to begin at 10:30 a.m.
