Tyler Marshall (Trappe, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) earn his first career Landmark Conference Special Teams Athlete of the Week award, the conference office announced on Monday, Sept. 9.
Marshall was a keyed Lycoming's 48-12 win over Widener, as he posted 109 kick return yards on two kickoff returns that set the Warriors up in great field position. His first return was a 61-yarder to get the ball from the goal line to the Widener 39, setting up a touchdown three plays later. He also had a 48-yard return to start second half and put the ball at the 32, setting up a field goal and he added a 33-yard interception return that put the ball at the three-yard line and set up a field goal.
Marshall is Lycoming's third Landmark Special Teams Athlete of the Week, as
Ian Plankenhorn '24 earned the award twice in 2023.
The Warriors get back on the field on Saturday, Sept. 14, when they head to the defending national champions, SUNY Cortland, for a 12 p.m. game.
