DALLAS, Pa. – Sophomore Katryn Yocum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) took 14^th place in 16:41.60 and first-year Kenneth Draper (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) took 28^th place in 14:34 to lead the Lycoming College cross country teams at the Misericordia University Invitational on Thursday evening, Sept. 1.
 
Yocum paced the women on the 4K course in an 82-member field, as the team took seventh in the field of nine teams. Junior Ali Clemens (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area) posted a 18:28.70) to take 40th, senior Claire Shaffer (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) turned in a 19:07.50 to take 47th, junior Madisyn Neal (Roaring Branch, Pa./Canton) took 60th in 20:25.60 and sophomore Isabella Fave (Middleburg, Pa./Midd-West) took 64th in 20:52.80.
 
The men finished seventh in a nine-team field with 209 points behind Draper, who paced the team in the 75-runner field on the 4K course. Senior Garrett Lee (Hollywood, Md./Leonardtown) took 37^th place with a 16:03.20, sophomore Nate Noel (Sparta, N.J./Sussex Tech) took 45^th in 18:14.40, senior Chris Alvarado (San Antonio, Texas/KIPP San Antonio) took 48^th in 19:02.50 and sophomore Brandon Chiguichon (Chicago, Ill./ITW David Speer) took 51^st in 20:06.60.
 
The Warriors get back on the course on Saturday, Sept. 10, when they travel to Lebanon, Pa., for the Dutchmen XC Invite. The women start at 10:15 a.m. before the men run at 11 a.m.
