WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College swim teams had another strong day in Lamade Gym Natatorium on Saturday, March 20, as it completed its most extensive program yet as part of the six-team MAC Coaches' Challenge Virtual Invitational. The men's team finished second in the six-team field and the women took fourth.
The women's 400-yard medley relay team of junior
Devon Kaiser (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson), sophomore
Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington), freshman
Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) and senior
Cara Zortman (York, Pa./Suburban York) posted a time of 4:20.92 to take third.
Brown won the 50-yard breaststroke (32.24) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.89). Zortman finished second in the 50-yard freestyle (26.14) and fifth in the 50-yard butterfly (29.57). DiNicola posted a time of 1:05.71 in the 100-yard butterfly to take third and 6:11.08 in the 500-yard freestyle to take sixth.
Kaiser finished tied for fifth in the 200-yard individual medley, posting a time of 2:30.43.
Brown, Kaiser, DiNicola and Zortman also notched a time of 1:46.91 in the 200-yard freestyle relay, finishing second.

Brennan Warner (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area), freshman
Carter Branigan (Lansdowne, Pa./Commonwealth Charter), sophomore
William Marcinkowski (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College) and junior
Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) notched a time of 4:14.58 to take fourth.
Branigan posted a solid 55.95 in the 100-yard butterfly to take third, Booth took fifth the 50-yard freestyle (24.12) and third in the 100-yard backstroke (56.77). Marcinkowski notched a 1:07.35 to take fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke and 30.84 to take third in the 50-yard breaststroke.
Senior
Brandon Vought (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) paced the Warriors in the 200- (2:02.54) and 500-yard freestyle (5:31.24), where he took sixth and fifth, respectively.
Booth, sophomore
Reilly Gluz (Syracuse, N.Y./Williston Northampton), Branigan and Marcinkowski notched a time of 1:46.91 in the 200-yard freestyle relay to take third.
The Warriors get back in the pool on Saturday, March 27, when Stevenson University comes to Lamade Gym Natatorium for a 1 p.m. dual meet.
