NEWVILLE, Pa. – First-year
Katryn Yocum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) became the seventh runner in program history to finish in the top 100 at the NCAA Mideast Regionals to cap a fine rookie year for the Lycoming College cross country team, as she helped the women to a 28
th-place finish on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Big Spring High School.

Yocum took 90
th place in a field of 217 runners, posting a time of 26:05.4. Sophomore
Ali Clemens (Souderton, Pa./Souderton Area) finished in 143
rd in 27:54.7 and sophomore
Madisyn Neal (Roaring Branch, Pa./Canton) took 175
th in 29:39.3 to round out the team's top three runners. Junior
Mariah Rovenolt (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) finished in a career-best 36:06.7 and junior
Laurel Stoppard (York, Pa./Central York) posted a time of 36:53.1.

On the men's side, the team was once again paced by senior
Max Hanson (Fort Walton Beach, Fla./Bishop Machebeuf), as he finished in a team-best 31:09.2 to take 151
st in the field of 222 runners. First-year
Eliott Bello (Trumbell, Conn./Trumbell) took 169
th in 32:10.5 and junior
Logan Franquet (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) came in 203
rd in 35:11.9. Senior
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) took 211
th in 36:29.4 and senior
Diego Pallares (Cicero, Ill./Bulls Prep) took 214
th in 37:02.3 to round out the top five. Senior
Brandon Gates (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) posted a 37:12.0 and first-year
Nate Noel (Sparta, N.J./Essex Tech) took seventh on the team in 37:30.9.
