WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sweeping all 11 events, the Lycoming College men's swimming team cruised to a 138-56 win over Lebanon Valley College to open the season with two wins for the first time since 1998 on Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Lamade Gym Natatorium. A short-handed women's team fell to the Flying Dutchmen, 137-52.

Carter Branigan (Lansdowne, Pa./Commonwealth Charter) won three individual events to pace the Warriors and senior
Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) added two individual wins and a relay win. First-year
Noah Vivian (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) also added one individual win and two relay wins.

Branigan won the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.44), the 100-yard butterfly (54.49) and the 100-yard backstroke (57.65) in impressive fashion. Booth won the 200- (1:51.36) and 500-yard (5:11.70) freestyles for the second straight week and teamed with sophomore
C.J. Zortman (York, Pa./York Suburban), junior
Reilly Gluz (Syracuse, N.Y./Williston Northampton) and Vivian to post a time of 1:34.33 to win the 200-yard freestyle relay by more than five seconds. Vivian won the 50-yard freestyle (22.60) and anchored the 200-yard freestyle relay and swam the butterfly in the 200-yard medley relay, which won in 1:44.33, as he teamed with Zortman and juniors
Will Marcinkowski (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College) and
Matthew Michenfelder (East Windsor, N.J./Hightstown) for another five-second win.

Eliot Keith (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) won the 100-yard freestyle in 51.18, Gluz took the 1,000-yard freestyle in 12:05.41 and Marcinkowski won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:04.24.

Elisa DiNicola led the Warrior women, as she won the 50-yard freestyle (26.55) and 500-yard freestyle (6:04.27). Sophomore
Courtney Chapman (Warminster, Pa./William Tenant) won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 12:44.07 and senior
Devon Kaiser (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:27.84 and was just touched out by less than two-tenths of a second to take second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:17.19).
