The Warriors (5-8 overall, 1-2 MAC Commonwealth) had the benefit of forfeit wins at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles, but still won five of the seven contested matches, including four singles bouts.

Wheary led the team with wins in both his matches, as he teamed with junior
Zachary High (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) to post a 9-8 (4) win over Jimmy Souder and Antonio Gaetani at No. 2 doubles before posting a 6-4, 6-0 win over Souder at No. 3 singles.

Bryce Jones (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) won his career-high tying fifth singles match of the year, notching a 7-5, 6-2 win over Colin MacCloskey at No. 1 singles before junior
Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove) won his team-leading ninth match of the year, 4-6, 6-4, 10-3, over Reid Hoff at No. 2. The team's other win came at No. 5 singles, where senior
Josh Cram (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) posted a 6-0, 6-1 win over Chris O'Neill.

Alvernia fell to 6-4 overall and 1-2 in the MAC Commonwealth.

The Warriors get back on the court on Thursday, April 13, when they face Lebanon Valley in an important MAC Commonwealth match at 2:30 p.m.
