Zachary High (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) led the Lycoming College men's tennis team with a singles and doubles win, but Hood College used two doubles wins to edge out Lycoming, 5-4, in MAC Commonwealth action at Bruce Henry Park on Saturday, April 22.

The Warriors (5-11 overall, 1-5 MAC Commonwealth) split the three singles matches with the Blazers (2-11, 1-5 MAC Commonwealth), but Hood's wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles made the difference.

Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove) to post an 8-4 win over Jorden Hahn and Connor Riggin at No. 2 doubles. He followed that with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Riggin at No. 5 singles.

Evan Bennetch (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Bible Baptist School) rallied to defeat Jorden Hahn, 2-6, 6-4, 10-7 at No. 4 singles for his ninth win of the year.
