Evan Bennetch (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Bible Baptist School) won his third straight singles match and the Lycoming College men's tennis team swept doubles play and won five singles matches en route to an 8-1 win at Lancaster Bible in non-conference action at the Hempfield Rec Center on Wednesday, March 29.

Bennetch was one of five Warriors to win both their singles and doubles matches, as the team improved to 4-5 on the season. Bennetch posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Evan Holbrook at No. 3 singles and he teamed with freshman
Mitch Wheary (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) to post an 8-2 win over Holbrook and Ming Bowser at No. 2 doubles.

Bryce Jones (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) notched a 6-0, 6-1 win over Bowser at No. 1 singles and teamed with junior
Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove) to post an 8-1 win over Jared Steiner and Derice Butler at No. 1 doubles. Smith added a 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 10-7 win over Steiner at No. 2 singles.

Josh Cram (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) to post an 8-3 win over Jason Steiner and Vallette at No 3 doubles.
