Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Although several matches were tightly contested, the Lycoming College men's tennis team was able to pick up only two singles wins on Friday, March 24, during their non-conference match at Muhlenberg College, falling 7-2, in the Deitrich Field House.

The Warriors won two superset tiebreakers in comeback fashion after losing the second set, with senior
Evan Bennetch (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Bible Baptist School) posting a 7-6 (5), 1-6, 10-5 win at No. 3 singles over Nicholas Oliveti and junior
Zachary High (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) notching a 6-4, 6-7 (5), 10-7 win over Evan Johannet at No. 5 singles.

Bennetch moved into a tie for the team lead with six wins with sophomore
Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove), who dropped a tight No. 2 singles match to David Woods, 7-6 (5), 6-1. High is close behind with five wins.

The Warriors fell to 3-5 overall while Muhlenberg improved to 2-1.

Lycoming will get back on the court on Wednesday, March 29, when they head to Lancaster Bible for a 3 p.m. non-conference match in its final tuneup before MAC Commonwealth play begins.
