Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – All five Lycoming College men's tennis players in the lineup on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 27, won their contested matches, as a short-handed Lycoming team powered past Misericordia Unviersity, 7-2, at the Misericordia Tennis Complex.

The Warriors (2-4 overall) beat Misericordia (0-2 overall) for the first time since 2012 with a commanding performance, not dropping a set in the seven contested matches.

Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove) posted an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles against Corey Dulsky and Samarth Shah and freshman
Mitch Wheary (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) and senior
Evan Bennetch (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Bible Baptist School) posted an 8-0 win over Murphy Lynch and Cyrus Torres at No. 2.

Zachary High (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) finished off singles play with a 6-4, 6-1 win over A.J. Baber at No. 5.

The Warriors will wrap up their fall season at the two-day Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships, which begin on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 9 a.m. at Wilkes-Barre's Kirby Park.
