Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove) won both his singles and doubles matches to lead the Lycoming College men's tennis team on Friday afternoon, Sept. 23, but FDU-Florham walked away from Bruce Henry Park with a 6-3 non-conference win.

Smith teamed with senior partner
Bryce Jones (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) for a thrilling finish at No. 1 doubles. Down 7-3, the Warrior duo stormed back with four straight wins to get on serve and force a tiebreaker, which they won, 7-5, against FDU-Florham's Steven Serras and Rich Bennett.

Smith then once again outlasted Bennett in No. 2 singles, posting a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win. Freshman
Mitch Wheary (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) added the Warriors' other point with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Jason Dubinsky at No. 4 singles.

The Warriors get back on the court on Sunday, Sept. 25, when they host King's College at 2 p.m. at Bruce Henry Park.
