Box Score SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Junior Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove) earned a superset tiebreaker at No. 2 singles, but the Lycoming College men's tennis team fell to Susquehanna University, 8-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Garrett Sports Complex.
 
Smith posted a 6-0, 4-6, 10-8 win over Susquehanna's Alexander Dove, as Lycoming (1-2 overall) had several competitive singles matches against the strong River Hawks squad, which improved to 1-0.
 
Senior Bryce Jones (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) fell in a close second set with Ben Ornstein at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 7-5, and junior Zachary High (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) fell to Ashton Collins, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Friday, Sept. 23, when they host FDU-Florham at Bruce Henry Park at 2 p.m.
