Box Score WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Lycoming College men's tennis team fell to defending MAC Freedom champions, Wilkes, 9-0, on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Ralston Athletic Complex.
 
Senior Son Phan (Hanoi, Vietnam/High School for Gifted Students) had the tightest match, falling to Gabriel Velez, 6-1, 6-4, at No. 5 singles, while the doubles team of senior Bryce Jones (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) and junior Rob Smith (Middleburg, Pa./Selinsgrove) fell to Troy Haas and Andrew Neidig, 8-5, at No. 1.
 
The Warriors fall to 1-1 overall and Wilkes improved to 1-0.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Wednesday, Sept. 14, when they head to Susquehanna for a 4 p.m. match.
