James Hamm (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) posted a 12
th-place finish in a field of 79 runners and junior
Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) finished 18
th to lead the Lycoming College men's cross country team to a fourth-place finish at the Delaware Valley Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 5, at Delaware Valley University's Gemmill Campus.

The women's team finished seventh in a field of nine teams, paced by two career-best performances and a 28
th-place finish from junior
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen).

Hamm notched a time of 31:13.56, eighth amongst Division III competitors, to lead the men's squad, which finished behind only Widener (31), Philadelphia (36) and Penn State Berks (115), while finishing with 118 points.

Miller was close behind, finishing in 32:06.45 to take 18
th and freshman
Nick Pisani (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) began his career with a 24
th-place finish in 32:54.34. Rounding out the scoring five, sophomore
Sean Hastings (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) finished 39
th in 35:23.75 and freshman
Andrew Dion (Tiverton, R.I./Tiverton) took 43
rd in 35:55.69.

Jacob McClain (Cogan Station, Pa./Jersey Shore) close behind in 47

th. McClain notched a career-best time of 36:33.35 at the Delaware Valley race.

Donovan paced a closely grouped women's team, finishing in 28:04.73, while sophomore
Rachel Fritz (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) dropped more than a minute of her previous career-best time to take 36
th in the field of 94 runners in 28:57.71. Senior
Anna Summers (Shamokin, Pa./Shamokin Area) was close behing in 29:12.12 to take 38
th and set a new career-best at Delaware Valley in the process. Senior
Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) was less than a second behind, finishing in 29:12.92 to take 39
th and freshman
Haby Golocko (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) rounded out the top five in 30:33.02 to take 50
th.

Lindsay Smith (Easton, Pa./Easton) (30:39.52) and junior
Victoria Wilson (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland) (31:54.28), who took 52
nd and 64
th, respectively. Sophomore
Rachel Ham (San Antonio, Texas/Homeschooled) also performed well for the Warriors, setting a career-best time by finishing in 33:17.41.

The Warriors get back in action on Saturday, Sept. 12, when they head to Misericordia University's Cougar Classic. The women's race is set for 10:30 a.m. before the men at 11:15 a.m.
