DALLAS, Pa. – The Lycoming College men's tennis team began the spring portion of its 2013-14 season at Misericordia University on Saturday afternoon, March 22, falling 8-1 at the Misericordia Tennis Complex.
 
The Warriors (0-4 overall) were led by junior Joe Rudderow (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood), who posted an 8-5 win over Christian Pugliese at No. 3 singles to help the team post its lone point. Freshman Bryce Jones (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) also played well at No. 1 singles, narrowly falling to Tony Goodall, 7-5, 7-6 (10).
 
Misericordia improved to 3-7 overall.
 
The Warriors get back on the court on Monday, March 24, when they head to Juniata for a non-conference tune-up match at 4 p.m.
