CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – A solid all-around performance that included six best times on the DeSales University course highlighted the day for the Lycoming College cross country teams at the DeSales Cross Country Invitational on an overcast and rainy, Saturday, Oct. 11.

The women's team led the way, posting a sixth-place finish in a field of 13 teams, thanks to four new course records on the DeSales course.

Sophomore
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen) led the team with a 39
th place finish in 27:36.32, besting her time at the course in 2013 by three seconds. Junior
Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) followed with a time of 28:19.27 to take 46
th and senior
Kelsey Rawson (Waldorf, Md./North Point) followed with a 47
th-place finish in 28:23.61, cutting more than a minute off her best time at DeSales.

Victoria Wilson (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland) notched a season-best time of 28:37.89 to take 52
nd and drop nearly 20 seconds off her previous best at DeSales and freshman
Lindsay Smith (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) rounded out the scoring five with a time of 29:18.04. Also in the top seven were junior
Rachel Salmon (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain), who finished 68
th in 29:32.81, and junior
Anna Summers (Shamokin, Pa./Shamokin Area), who finished 72
nd in 29:58.79.

Jacqueline Croteau (Islip, N.Y./Islip) was the fourth Warrior on the women's side to best her previous best at DeSales, dropping more than a minute and a half off her 2013 time to finish in 32:17.04.

James Hamm (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) once again led the Warriors, posting his third time under 30 minutes this season, notching a time of 29:32.08 to finish 42
nd in a field of 139 runners to help the men to a seventh-place finish in an 11-team field.

Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown) finished with a time of 30:30.85, dropping 70 seconds off his previous best time at DeSales, to finish 59th. Senior
T.J. Guminski (Ambler, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) was close behind, taking 61
st in 30:31.78 and freshman
Sean Hastings (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) took 68
th in 30:51.06. Junior
Peter Rittenhouse (Green Lane, Pa./Quakertown Community) also finished in the team's top five, posting a time of 31:17.20 to take 77
th overall, and freshman
Joseph Ingrum (Lodi, Calif./Lodi) was close behind, finishing 79
th in 31:25.39. Rounding out the top seven was sophomore
Bryant Dietrick (Muncy, Pa./Muncy Area), who finished 112
th in 34:38.01.

Donald Keys (Erie, Pa./Northwest Pennsylvania Military Academy) also impressed, posting a career-best time of 34:41.31, dropping nearly two minutes off his previous best at DeSales.

The Warriors get back on the course on Saturday, Oct. 18, when they head to the Gettysburg College Invitational. The women's race will start at 11 a.m. with the men starting at 12 p.m.
