Dubinsky post win as Warriors fall to Susquehanna

Box Score WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Jordan Dubinsky (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) notched a superset tiebreaker win at No. 4 singles to lead the Lycoming College men's tennis team on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 26, but Susquehanna University was able to post an 8-1 win at Bruce Henry Park.
 
Dubinsky outlasted Joseph Meyer, notching a 7-5 first-set win before falling 3-6 in the second. In the tiebreaker, Dubinsky notched a 13-11 win.
 
Freshman Bryce Jones (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) also reached a superset tiebreaker at No. 1 singles, notching a 6-3 first-set win over Jeremy Neville before falling 6-0 in the second set and 10-5 in the tiebreaker.
 
Jones also teamed with sophomore Joe Amento (Ambler, Pa./Abington Friends School) to notch a valiant comeback from 4-1 down at No. 1 doubles against Ian Endressen and Brandon Feldstein, falling 8-6.
 
Susquehanna improved to 1-3 overall and Lycoming fell to 0-3.
 
The Warriors wrap up the fall season when they head to the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
