CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Freshman
Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen) led the Lycoming College women's cross country team to a 12
th-place finish at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2, on the campus of DeSales University. The men's cross country team finished 13
th.

Donovan finished in 69
th place, posting a time of 27:32.89 on the 6K course, to lead the Warriors in the field of 150 runners. Elizabethtown took the team championship, as the Blue Jays had four runners finish in the top 10, and Lebanon Valley's Kelsey Patrick won the individual title.

Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) posted a time of 27:59.92, junior
Kelsey Rawson (Waldorf, Md./North Point) notched a 28:07.64, sophomore
Anna Summers (Paxinos, Pa./Shamokin Area) came across in 28:41.67 and freshman
Victoria Wilson (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland) rounded out the top five with a time of 28:42.43.

Rachel Salmon (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) posted a time of 28:50.54, posting a career-best time at MACs. Senior
Meredith Ellmore (Lothian, Md./Southern) crossed in 31:50.36, freshman
Jacqueline Croteau (Islip, N.Y./Islip) in 32:15.59 and senior
Carmen Niemeyer (Brookings, S.D./Brookings) rounded out the women's entries in 33:25.39.

On the men's side, the Warriors were led by a 102
nd-place finish by freshman
Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central), as he posted a time of 31:33.98, to help the Warriors improve two slots over a 15
th-place finish in 2012.

Widener picked up the team title, as individual champion Chris Garrity was one of three members of the Pride to finish in the top six on the 8K course.

Bryant Dietrick (Muncy, Pa./Muncy Area) posted a solid 32:43.23 to take 117
th, junior
Alex Bottorff (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) finished 120
th with a time of 33:03.48, sophomore
Peter Rittenhouse (Green Lane, Pa./Quakertown Community) posted a time of 33:05.10 to take 122
nd and junior
William Dietz (Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield Area) added a time of 33:05.24 to take 123
rd to round out the top five.

John Woodburn (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) crossed in 34:22.10, sophomore
Jacob McClain (Cogan Station, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) posted a time of 35:16.47 and freshman
Donald Keys (Erie, Pa./Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy) finished in a career-best 35:17.89. Rounding out the lineup, sophomore
Isaac Pawling (Columbia, Pa./Manheim Cental) finished in 40:01.15 and junior
Colton Dershem (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) notched a time of 40:17.18.

The Warriors will wrap up their 2013 campaign in two weeks when they run at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals at Lehigh University. The men's race will start at 11 a.m. before the women race at 12 p.m.
