BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Six of the seven runners on the Lycoming College women's cross country team posted career-best times to help the team to a 37^th-place finish at the NCAA Mideast Regionals on the campus of Lehigh University on Saturday, Nov. 16. The men finished 50^th in a field of 52 teams while using three career-best times.
 
The women's team improved four slots over a 41^st-place finish in 2013 on the 6K course, with sophomore Lindsay Decker (Shapleigh, Maine/Massabesic) leading the way with a career-best time of 25:27 to finish 193^rd in the field of 358, cutting nearly 1:15 off her previous career-best.
 
Freshman Sarah Donovan (Bergen, N.Y./Byron-Bergen) was close behind, finishing in a career-best 25:41 and junior Kelsey Rawson (Waldorf, Md./North Point) added a career-best time of 26:08 to finish in 236th, dropping nearly 1:30 off her previous best. Freshman Victoria Wilson (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland) added a career-best time of 26:28 to finish in 257^th, dropping more than 1:30 off her previous best and sophomore Rachel Salmon (Lock Haven, Pa./Central Mountain) rounded out the top five, as she finished in a career-best 26:38 to take 266^th. She dropped 1:20 off her previous best this season.
 
Rounding out the women's entries, sophomore Anna Summers (Paxinos, Pa./Shamokin Area) notched a time of 27:15 and senior Meredith Ellmore (Lothian, Md./Southern), who wrapped up her career by posting a career-best 28:11.
 
On the men's side, freshman Jacob Miller (Cooperstown, N.Y./Cooperstown Central) notched a career-best time of 30:08 to finish 290^th in the field of 364 on the 8K course. Junior Alex Bottorff (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) added a time of 31:03 to take 316^th, junior Will Dietz (Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield Area) posted a career-best 31:06, finishing 317th, senior Cory Trego (Pottstown, Pa./Coventry Christian School) notched a career-best 31:19, finishing 322^nd, and sophomore Peter Rittenhouse (Green Lane, Pa./Quakertown Community) rounded out the top five with a time of 32:31 to take 347^th.
 
Rounding out Lycoming's lineup, freshman Bryant Dietrick (Muncy, Pa./Muncy Area) posted a time of 32:39 and sophomore Jacob McClain (Cogan Station, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) added a time of 35:16.
