WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – For the first time since 1993, the Lycoming College football team has earned representation on the Associated Press Little All-America team, as senior defensive end
Anthony Marascio (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) was named to the third team of the squad, the news organization announced on Friday, Dec. 16.
The honor is the second All-American honors for the end this year, as he also was named to the American Football Coaches’ Association All-American team on Dec. 12. He is the 18
th Lycoming player to earn AP Little All-American honors and the first since 1993 when defensive back Scott Miller was a second-team selection. The Little All-American team is made up of players from the NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA. Marascio is the only representative of the MAC on the team.

D3Football.com All-East Region honors, led the MAC in tackles for loss with 20 and finished tied for third in the league with 8.5 sacks. The defensive end was the catalyst for the Warrior defense, which led the league and will finish in the top 10 in the nation in scoring defense, total defense, rushing defense, passing defense and turnover margin.
Marascio earned two
D3Football.com Team of the Week honors during the year, posting five tackles for loss at Lebanon Valley and 2.5 sacks against Rowan. He also added a Beyond Sports Network Athlete of the Week mention after another five tackle for loss game against Wilkes.
A 6-2 Philadelphia, Pa., native, Marascio led the Warriors with 59 tackles, the second year in a row that he led the team in tackles. He was a
D3ProDay.com and USA College Football Network Preseason All-American.
The Warriors finished 8-2 overall and 6-2 in the MAC to finish in a tie for second in the MAC with Widener. The Warriors racked up its best record since the 2003 team finished 9-2 overall.
