An almost unbelievable performance in a pair of shootouts in the MAC Freedom Championship has helped junior Nick Wilke earn his first career Warrior of the Week award. Wilke had seven saves in the two games, allowing two goals and notching a shutout of the fourth-ranked team in the nation, but maybe more impressively, he stopped three penalty-kick attempts during shootouts during the week. He had four saves in a 2-2 tie with Misericordia in the conference semifinals, then stonewalled a pair of shots in the shootout to lead the team to a 5-4 win. Against Stevens, he made three saves in a 0-0 tie, just the second time this year that the 15-0-3 Ducks were shutout. He added one more stop in a 4-2 loss during penalty kicks.
