After posting her first career double-double to help lift the Lycoming women's basketball team to an overtime win at Juniata, sophomore Summer Emlet has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. She posted 10 points and 14 rebounds to pace the team in a 63-58 win over Juniata, as she got her own rebound of a missed 3-pointer and hit a pull-up jumper with 10.1 seconds left to tie the game at 51 before Lycoming controlled the overtime period. Emlet hit two 3-pointers in the game and both her free throws to go with the career-high 14 rebounds. She followed that with five points, seven rebounds and an assist against Catholic.
For the week, Emlet averaged 7.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and an assist per game. For the season, she is seventh on the squad, averaging 3.9 points and fourth with 3.8 rebounds per contest.
